We believe it is important to give clients as much opportunity as possible for social contact, education and work, within a secure and supervised environment. Sainthill House is able to offer an environment designed to ensure that these needs are met. We aim to provide a wide range of organised and informal activities for clients of all abilities and interests.
Clients are encouraged to continue existing interests and activities, take up new ones or play a part in the day to day running of the home if they wish. We have an activities organiser who arranges a varied and extensive calendar of events and entertainment. There is always something going on each week and the range of activities on offer appeals to a broad cross section of clients. Activities include gentle exercise, gardening, baking, outings, library visits, painting and many more, all of which stimulate interest and independence. We also have visiting musicians, animal handlers, birds of prey and others, whom we regularly invite to provide service users with stimulating memories and entertainment to brighten their days.
