Major Extension and Improvement Works Completed at Sainthill House & Cottage
We are excited to share that our recent extension and improvement works at Sainthill House & Cottage are now complete — marking a major milestone in our ongoing commitment to providing outstanding care in a warm, safe, and modern environment.
What’s New?
Over the past year, we have invested significantly in upgrading and expanding our facilities to meet the evolving needs of our residents, families, and team. Key highlights of the works include:
- Three Beautifully Appointed New Bedrooms – Designed with comfort, privacy, and dignity in mind, these rooms are spacious, light-filled, and fully equipped with en-suite facilities.
- Brand-New Fire Alarm System (L1 Category) – A full, state-of-the-art, addressable fire alarm system has been installed throughout the house and cottage, enhancing safety across the entire site.
- Improved Accessibility and Safety – A new lift shaft and passenger lift have been added, allowing for seamless movement between floors for residents, visitors, and staff.
- Modernised Entry and Door Systems – All external and internal access points have been upgraded with electronic door systems that release automatically in the event of a fire, improving both safety and efficiency.
- Dining Room Refurbishment – Our dining spaces have been reimagined to offer a more welcoming, sociable, and inclusive atmosphere — now with new furnishings and layout to support a homely experience.
- Enhanced External Facilities – Outdoor areas have been improved for greater enjoyment and accessibility, including refreshed landscaping and the relocation of outdoor furniture for group activities and quiet reflection.
